Korma is the most demanding dish. It is a part of North Indian cuisine. Be it vegetable korma or paneer korma, it tastes great. the pick of the day is paneer korma. the ability of paneer to absorb the flavours easily makes this dish very delicious and perfect for enjoying with chapati, rice or paratha.

  • 1 cup paneer (cut into cubes)
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

  • 3 small onions

  • 1 inch ginger

  • 2 green chillies (or according to taste)

  • 1 cup mava/khoya (grated)

  • 1 cup cream

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 cup water

  • Salt to taste

  • Coriander leaves (finely chopped)

 Preparation Instructions:

  •  Grind onions, ginger and green chillies to form a fine paste.
  •  Heat oil in a pan and add the onion-ginger-green chilli paste to it. Cook till the oil starts separating.
  •  Add grated khoya and cream in the gravy and cook it for two minutes on low flame.
  •  Now, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and garam masala to the gravy. Cook the spices for 2 to 3 minutes.
  •  Now add 1/2 cup water and paneer cubes in the gravy. Let it cook till the gravy become thick.
  •  Turn off the stove and garnish the paneer korma with coriander leaves.
  •  Serve delicious paneer korma with chapati or parantha.
