Stuffed bread rolls are quick to make and serve as delicious evening snacks. Make a stuffing of cabbage and paneer for a healthy option
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 5 rolls


  • 5 bread slices (fresh)
  • 1/2 cup cabbage (grated)
  • 1/4 cup crumbled cottage cheese (paneer)
  • 1 tbsp coriander (finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp gram flour (besan)
  • oil (for frying)

Preparation Instructions:

  • Remove the crusts from bread slices and roll them thin.
  • Mix cabbage, paneer, green chilli, coriander leaves, salt and garam masala.
  • Divide this stuffing into five equal portions. Make a paste with 1 tbsp gram flour and water (with medium consistency).
  • Take a bread slice and put the stuffing on one end. Spread it horizontally from one corner to another.
  • Start rolling the slice into a roll. Seal the edges well with the gram flour paste.
  • Heat oil in a wok or pan and deep fry the rolls on medium flame till they turn golden brown.
  • Serve hot with tea and your favourite chutney.
